Green River (Wyoming)

The Green rises in the Wind River Range and flows south through Pinedale, Fontenelle Reservoir, and the Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge before entering Utah and ultimately Flaming Gorge Reservoir.

Two very different fisheries live on the Wyoming Green: the upper Green above Fontenelle is a mountain freestone with native and stocked cutthroat and browns; the tailwater below Fontenelle Dam, including the Seedskadee NWR reach, is a slow, biologically rich big-trout fishery.
