Waterloo Creek

Iowa's piece of the Driftless.

Waterloo Creek flows through Allamakee County in the northeast corner of Iowa — the same Driftless Area limestone bluff country that defines the trout fishing in southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin.

The creek holds wild brown trout and is one of the better-known Iowa Driftless streams. The Iowa DNR maintains designated trout water and public-access easements through the drainage.
