Iowa
Iowa's piece of the Driftless.
Northeast Iowa — Allamakee, Winneshiek, Clayton, and Fayette counties — is the southern edge of the Driftless Area, with the same limestone-spring geology that defines the trout fishing in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Iowa DNR manages roughly 100 designated trout streams in the corner, with public-access easements that work the same way as the Minnesota and Wisconsin programs.
