Tulpehocken Creek

The 'Tully' in Berks County is a bottom-release tailwater below Blue Marsh Lake (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) with underlying limestone geology and spring feeders. PFBC manages a catch-and-release fly-fishing-only special-regulation section that is one of southeastern Pennsylvania's best-known trout fisheries.

Check Army Corps Blue Marsh release schedules before wading — flows change with dam operations.

Sulphurs, olives, caddis, midges, scuds, sowbugs, and streamers all earn box space.

Verify the current catch-and-release / fly-fishing-only boundaries on the PFBC special-regulations page.
