Slab Cabin Run

A small limestone tributary to Spring Creek in Centre County that contributes cold spring water to the wild brown trout fishery flowing through State College.

Tight quarters — short rods, short casts, and minimal false casting.

Olives, midges, sulphurs, ants, beetles, scuds, and small nymphs cover the year.

Much of the corridor is urban / suburban; verify legal access points before fishing.
