Bullskin Run

A Jefferson County (Eastern Panhandle) limestone-fed tributary of the Shenandoah River with stable cold-water inputs from Great Valley springs. Largely private; the WVDNR has historically stocked portions and trout-fishing access depends on landowner cooperation and state-managed easements.

Access is dominated by private land — verify legal entry points and any posted boundaries before fishing.

Confirm current WVDNR stocking schedule and any seasonal regulations.

Sulphurs, caddis, BWOs, scuds and sowbugs, and small streamers cover most days.
